Hello, this is my first post here!
Pictures with questions under the post.

corn
What is wrong with my corn?! Not all of them were this bad. Could it be from planting seeds in the same soil I found a crack pipe in earlier in the season? |
 |
Garlic
I planted 4 rows of garlic and they are looking good! |

Acocado!
My first avacodo plant to actually grow, even if it just came from the compost. Should I let this little one keep growing or is there no hope for it this winter? |
Should I start planting my pumpkins now or am I too late?

Ear me out...
The corn is just imcomplete fertilization. Could have been caused by a number of things. Damage to the corn silk (the hair tufts that attached to each kernel). Damage could include being too wet, frost, physical damage (stripping or scaring the silk as you walk through it) etc... Could have been pulled off by kids even (it's not always a bug or other infectious issue)...The corn actually looks good. I've done corn at the house and some at the family farm. Where there are kids, we have corn that looks like yours. I just shrug.
Hope that helps?
